when I found out that I was pregnant, I looked for a community and it's taken awhile to come up, so I'm happy now! I work two jobs and volunteer a few hours a week, so I'm rather busy these days, with jobs and trying to get over the extra tiredness.

My husband and I have been trying to concieve since our first anniversary, 3.5 years ago. This summer, after much prompting, my husband had surgery to fix his vericose veins in his scrotum (called variocoseseels). There was a 60% chance that it was the cause of our fertility problems. When my husband went to his 4 month appointment to see if the surgery fixed the problem, we already knew that we were pregnant! The doctor confirmed that the surgery was a success and we were able to tell him we knew!

I am due on September 11th - which isn't very conveinent for me since I am a teacher and this is the end of the first week of school. But, at this point, I'll take anything, I mean, I'm finally pregnant!

Hey, welcome to this community too! It's a little quieter over here, but sometimes things happen...

Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting to know you better!

Isn't it wonderful, that OMG WE ARE ACTUALLY PREGNANT AT LAST feeling? I've been through that! Seriously, we were the first of all our friends to get married, and the last to actually have a child. But now we've been surprised with baby number 2! Seeing that my daughter took three and a half years and medical intervention (sort of) to conceive...it's pretty awesome.

Congrats!

That's really funny, we were the first of one group of our friends to get married and one of the last to get pregnant!.
